Jenny+Tom

This was the last wedding I worked on before I went on maternity leave :)

They had a rustic ranch theme for their wedding and wanted a very specific look for their paper goods.

Congratulations to the beautiful couple!

Giraffe Baby Shower

This is a baby shower I helped out with last month!

It was for a super beautiful mommy to be--and I wish her and the baby girl much love--can't wait to meet the little one in person!

Some fun game/activity ideas if you're planning on doing a shower!

1. Name game (since they didn't choose a name--we asked guests to suggest names they thought would be a good fit)

2. Advice for the Parents to be or wishes for the baby

3. Baby Bingo--who doesn't love playing bingo while the presents are being opened.

4. I Spy (Suggestions of photo opts that guests can take and post to instagram under the same hashtag)

5. Madlibs

annnd here are some pictures...

EVENT DECOR:

--Props to my friend Hannah (same name as me!) for the streamer decor--great idea--awesome execution! She definitely has the perfect patio for these sort of events! SO JELLY!

--Place settings were printables (which I will post a close up of later)

--Centerpieces: Flowers in China Teapots+Mason Jars with Pencils (with washi tape as flags)

INVITATIONS:

--Simple giraffe theme :)

PRINTABLES:

--Once everything was designed/printed/cut/punched out--I wrapped everything together to create a set of activities the guests could do to pass the time while waiting/eating.

I think baby showers are the cutest/funnest events to be a part of :)

Baby Shower Printables

There seems to be a lot of baby showers and baby birthdays these days!

Maybe I'm just more aware since I'm carrying a little one myself!

I'll be 22 weeks in a couple of days--and I find out what the gender is on Thursday--exciting!

In light of this huge life change--I decided to post some baby shower printables for everyone to use!

This was a baby shower that I hosted (along with several other lovely ladies) awhile back. It was for a baby girl with the theme of BIRDS!

Download:

GIRL BABY SHOWER

Here's everything it comes with in the PDF:

Baby Bingo:

Guests can play while the mom-to-be is opening her gifts!

Food Labels:

Make sure you have food that the baby momma can eat.

Encouragement Notes:

Have guests fill out letters to the parents or baby

Bird Tags:

Use the giant scallop punch!

Cupcake/Food Toppers:

Punch them out with circle punches and you're good to go.

*The center piece for the front table were just letters on scrapbook paper--wrapped around mason jars. We placed flowers then stuck the baby's nume on large circles. (Refer to 1st picture for visual)

NOTE:

This free download is formatted for a generic baby girl shower for personal use only.

If you would like to purchase this set--I can personalize each printable with the baby's name--as well as do any color changes--just contact me personally at thethingshannahloves@gmail.com

Enjoy!

Wedding Stationary

I've finally edited some of the photos I have of the wedding stationary I've done in the past. About time -_-

I couldn't get to everything--but here's some to start:

This stationary set is one of my favorites--maybe because the couple I designed them for was extra special. We tucked the RSVP and directions on top of the invitations and wrapped the band around the whole thing (you can see the band on the invitation only in the photo)

Programs for a blush wedding ceremony! Super long program folded in half!

This was for a wedding that had a TRAVEL THEME!

Invitations = Passports

RSVP cards = Boarding Passes

Escort cards = Baggage Tags

Programs = Travel Itinerary

Even all the passport stamps were custom designed to the couple!

SUPER fun to design--something a bit different than the usual stuff I get asked to do.

This bride wanted a "elegant/class" look to her stationary. Everything was tucked in together and placed inside a pocket envelope.

This isn't for a wedding haha, but I added it in just for fun.

SAVE THE DATES!

This is a pending job so the invitations+reception stuff shall be posted later!

whew! Hopefully from here on out--I'll actually post about future events individually....maybe. ha.

Until next time~

2013 Calendar

Mmm, so there have been accounts of people downloading the 2012 calendars....I think they assume they're 2013? I don't even know how they find the link to download them unless they're looking at super old posts haha...

Either way, I feel bad every time I see that someone downloaded an outdated-year-old calendar file--so here's the 2013 set--hope it helps to those that need it!

DOWNLOAD:

HERE

(All the calendars are in one file--even the months that have passed us by)

And of course, if you would like printed+packaged version--it's available for purchase.

Can't believe it's APRIL already.

Care Packages

My favorite thing to make are care packages!! It's always fun to try to think of new ways to package them and of course deciding what delicious goodies to pack. Let's not forget--it's always a joy to try to encourage students that are about to spend endless nights studying. Definitely don't miss those days.

Simple ideas to try -- download the files (below) to create your own!

31 FLAVORS OF MY HUSBAND

I made this for my hubby last week for his birthday :)

This year since he turned 31---and our favorite ice cream shop is 31 baskin robbins.....

soooooo, I created the 31 ice cream flavors of my husband!

haha :)

First, I designed all the ice cream flavors--super fun to do by the way. Then, inside each flavor I wrote a characteristic about John that I admire--and under it I wrote about how he shows that characteristic as a husband.

At the end of the day--he loved it--so success!

"Change of Heart"

I think I'm having a "change of heart" on what my logo should be...

So, the butterfly logo/icon came before the name "the things hannah loves"

but now, that I've officially stuck with that identity/name--I'm wondering if I should change my logo icon to a heart--since it'll probably better fit the whole hannah "loves" aspect.

The lockets hanging on my mirror was what caused my sudden inspiration...

It's even the same color!

I'm thinking an ornate/modern/shabby chic sort of heart icon. ha...ha...ha...yeah. can't make up my mind. I'll have to doodle some ideas down soon :)

I've always been hesitant to "go public" because of this reason.

Do I REALLY want to stick with this name, do I REALLY want to use this logo, do I REALLY feel like I can stare at this turquoise/blue/green color FOREVER? But I realized, it's okay to start something and work through it WITH everyone. If you want to reinvent yourself in the middle of it all, who says you can't? Maybe people will support you even more since they've been along for the journey from the beginning--through all of your ups and downs and uncertainties (i hope people think like this...)

What do you think? Keep the butterfly--or see where the heart logo takes me!?

On a side note -- my husband has been begging me to do away with the butterfly. He says the butterfly is "Mariah Carey's thing". haha.

Fan Finger Wedding Programs

I designed+printed these programs for a Michigan Stadium Wedding. The couple requested the programs be shaped as a fan foam finger--so ta-da--this is what I came up with.

Team GROOM, Team BRIDE, and Team YOO (for the bridal party to hold)

After completing this job I had several blisters from all the cutting. I now know why the wedding industry charges an arm and a leg for something like this. It literally cost me my hand and back -__-

BUUUT, it was SUPER fun to design--and I watched an entire TV series while cutting them out, so all in all--I can't complain :)

COMPLETE! Stuffed and ready to deliver~

Hopefully I can get some pictures from the bride/groom later!

Hot Air balloon for you!

Yay free hot air balloon printable for you! This wedding shower was for a very cute couple at church.

The theme was "come fly away with us" so--what better than to fly away on a hot air balloon!

One of my girlfriends hosted the event--and asked if I could help with the decor with some graphics work~

(this event is the same one where I made the thumbprint guestbook in my previous post)

Here are a variety to choose from--just download according to your event colors. I made this to hang on the tree as decor AND for people to write notes to the couple. Enjoy! Click on the color you want (keep in mind that you should download the file to get the accurate color--the preview from the website is a bit off).

Sailboat Namecards

I made these in June (Why am I taking forever to post stuff? Shame on me -_- ) for my teacher friend -- for their school's annual 6th grade graduation breakfast! I guess they have namecards for all the teachers so since their theme that year was "beach"-- I made sailboats...haha! I got the idea from ms. martha herself--and I just changed it up to what I needed.

Super simple, Super easy :)

Although, folding the thick cardstock got to be a bit of a challenge...

haha

A sea of boats!

FANTASY FOOTBALL

I hope there are guys (ladies too) that might find this useful...haha

The guys at work ask me to do this each year so I thought--why not just post it so other people could use it too...

If you have a Fantasy Football Draft -- this printable is for YOU! The file has 20 pick numbers--the image below only shows 12 so don't get fooled--just click on the link and download the FREE full version.

Then, Print - Cut - GOOD LUCK!

And in tribute to last year's Superbowl winners--the jerseys are Blue/White :)

Download COLOR

Feel free to suggest other "Fantasy Football" printables you would like. I make football pools each week for the people at work...I don't know if people are into that...I'm debating if I should post the ones I make each week...

It's August Already?

Wow, time flies.

August = back to school

(well, not for me, but for a lot of other people haha)

and Back to School = NEW SCHOOL SUPPLIES!

(again, not for me, but I love perusing down the school supply aisles at target and eyeing all the sales...)

My tribute to the beginning of the academic year...complete with pencils, paper and a pencil sharpener ;)

On a side note, I'm going to Harry Potter World in 4 days! SO EXCITED!
